New Stock Screen Filters

In response to requests and feedback, we have:

  • Expanded weekly and monthly settings for
    • Directional Movement
    • MACD
    • Twiggs Momentum Oscillator (TMO)
  • And added new filters for
    • Directional Movement
      • DI+ Value Filter
      • DI- Value Filter
      • DI Difference
    • Average Daily Range (ADR)
      • Value Filter

We are constrained by the number of filters we can add but will welcome further feedback or suggestions.

New filters:

Directional Movement

We have expanded the available Directional Movement filters to include DI+ & DI- values andthe difference between the two.

NVIDIA Corp (NVDA) Directional Movement

DI+ Value Filter

DI+ summarizes upward trend movement. Use the new filter to identify Minimum or Maximum values.

DI- Value Filter

DI- summarizes downward trend movement. Use the new filter to identify Minimum or Maximum values.

DI Difference

Identifies the difference between the current DI+ and DI- values.

Directional Movement: DI Difference filter settings

Average Daily Range (ADR)

ADR is a measure of stock volatility, calculated by dividing the high by the low and then averaging this for the selected period. Unlike the Average True Range (ATR), it ignores any gaps in price.

ADR is currently only available as a stock screen filter, not as an indicator on the chart.

Value Filter

Identify Minimum or Maximum values.
