Backup

It is advisable to backup your watchlists and project files on a regular basis.
Use the Importing and Exporting Files functions to backup your project files and watchlists to a removable disk.

Using a CD-burner

1. Insert a CD-RW disk in your CD drive (normally D:);
2. Open Incredible Charts;
3. Select File >> Export Files from the main menu;
4. Select all watchlist (.viz) and project (.ini) files using your mouse and the shift key;
   Ignore any sub-folders; their sole purpose is for the Undo / Redo commands;
5. Click Open;
6. Select your CD drive (normally D:) from the folder list and click OK.

The above steps may vary depending on your CD-burner software.

Using a flash disk or 1.44Mb floppy disk

A floppy disk will only work if your project files are reasonably small.

1. Insert the flash disk into a USB port or floppy disk into the drive
2. Open Incredible Charts;
3. Select File >> Export Files from the main menu;
4. Select all watchlist (.viz) and project (.ini) files using your mouse and the shift key;
   Ignore any sub-folders; their sole purpose is for the Undo/Redo commands;
5. Click Open;
6. Select the flash disk or floppy drive and click OK.
