Installing Incredible Charts
When you install Incredible Charts, McAfee Personal Firewall may prompt you to allow access to the Internet.
- Select Grant Access to allow Incredible Charts to both send and receive data.
If your firewall is set at a lower (Trusting) security setting, the prompt may be different.
- Select Continue What I Was Doing to allow Incredible Charts to both send and receive data
Latest McAfee Update: Personal Privacy
If Incredible Charts will not load normally after the latest McAfee update,
it may be due to their updated version of "Personal Privacy" protection and not
due to the firewall at all.
A member reported that Incredible Charts was unable to access charts. When he deleted the privacy program, Incredible Charts loaded normally.
To disable the McAfee Privacy Service:
- Right-click the McAfee icon in the system tray
- Point to McAfee Privacy Service;
- Select Sign Out.
Altering existing firewall permissions
If Incredible Charts will only work when your firewall is disabled, you will need to alter your existing firewall permissions:
- Right-click the McAfee icon and point to Personal Firewall
- Select Applications
- Find Incredible Charts (incrediblecharts.exe) in the Permissions list
- Right-click and select Allow Full Access.
Incredible Charts Updates
When Incredible Charts updates to a new version, McAfee Personal Firewall may alert you that the application has been modified and ask whether you want to grant permission.
- Check the What's New? page to confirm that there has been an update
- Select Grant Access to allow Incredible Charts to both send and receive data.
Adding Incredible Charts to the permissions list
If Incredible Charts is not on the permissions list:
- Right-click the McAfee icon and point to Personal Firewall
- Select Applications
- Click the New Allowed Application icon (immediately below the Applications List)
- Select Incrediblecharts.exe and Open.
