Installation Guide
Minimum System Requirements
- Operating system: Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Windows 7 or Vista.
- Incredible Charts will only work on a Mac if you run Virtual PC or VMware Fusion.
- Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.
- Memory: 32 Mb of RAM.
Premium Data Service
A 30-Day free trial of Incredible Charts premium data will automatically activate when you install the charts for the first time.
When the free trial expires you can continue to use the charts with delayed free data or subscribe to the premium data service.
Run
Click the Run button in the File Download box
If your browser does not offer a Run button:
- Click the Save button;
- If prompted for a folder, save to Desktop or My Documents/Downloads;
- When the download is completed, Open the file.
Run Publisher
When asked to approve the publisher, click the Run button.
- If the installer does not start automatically, start it from your Desktop or Downloads folder (in My Documents).
- You will be prompted for an Administrator password if your Windows user account does not have Administrator Privileges.
Incredible Charts Setup
Click Next to start the Setup Wizard. We recommend that you follow the Default options.
Configure Internet Explorer
When finished, open Internet Explorer and add Incredible Charts to your Trusted Sites.
- Select Tools >> Internet Options >> Security >> Trusted Sites;
- Click the Default level button to set the Trusted Sites security level;
- Click the Sites button to open the Trusted Sites tab.
On the Trusted Sites tab:
- Clear the check-box: Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone;
- Enter *.incrediblecharts.com;
- Click the Add button then Close;
Windows (XP/Vista/7) 64-bit version
- Open C: >> Program Files >> Incredible Charts
- Right-click on incrediblecharts.exe and select Properties
- Click the Compatibility tab
- Select Run As >> Windows XP (32-bit) application
Configure your Firewall
Click the icon on your desktop to start Incredible Charts.
If prompted by your firewall, Allow connection to the server.
Enter your Email Address and Complete the Registration Page
- Please enter a valid email address as this will be used to transmit your password and activation key. Information is protected by our Privacy Policy.
- Click OK
- Create your own password and store this in a safe place.
- Read the Incredible Charts License
- Click the I Accept button.
